Frequently asked questions about Kappo Shishikura: hours, closing days, seating and private rooms, course price range, payment, and how to get there.
What are your hours, and when are you closed? +
Evenings, 18:00–24:00 with last orders at 22:00, closed Sundays and public holidays. The phone is answered from 11:00. Listings elsewhere sometimes differ, so please call to confirm before you come.
Do I need a reservation? +
Reservations are taken by phone on 03-6277-3866. It helps to name your course when you book.
Are there private rooms? +
Eighteen seats in all, ten of them at the counter. Private rooms seat four, six or eight, and the restaurant can be taken privately for up to twenty.
What should I budget? +
As of January 2026 courses ran from ¥18,000 to ¥27,000. The kaiseki changes monthly, so please call for the current menu and prices.
What is hegi soba? +
A soba from the Uonuma region of Niigata, bound with a seaweed called funori and served on the wooden tray known as a hegi. Here it is cut from Hokkaido buckwheat and served at the end of the course.
How can I pay? +
Credit cards — VISA, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX and Diners — and PayPay.
How do I get there from the station? +
Five minutes on foot from the east exit of JR Ebisu Station, on the ground floor of Levé de Printemps at 1-25-3 Ebisu.
